Summary:
Provides clerical support to the Clinical Manager in managing the day-to-day team operations.
Responsible for keeping the flow of team processes organized to expedite communication and support policies and procedures that ensure smooth, continuous team operations.
Qualifications:
1.
High School Graduate, with two years of secretarial experience preferable, but not mandatory.
2.
Demonstration of exceptional organizations skills, initiative, maturity, and computer skills.
3.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
4.
Home Health Experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
1.
Maintaining monthly recert list for nursing and therapist.
2.
Maintains accurate data and updates records on a daily basis.
3.
Performs all clerical functions for the clinical teams.
4.
Performs all clerical functions regarding correspondence for all field disciplines.
5.
Monitors assigned reports and follow up on unresolved discrepancies.
6.
Distributes and/or provides communications to appropriate staff as directed.
7.
Receives address triages and relays messages for assigned Team field staff (incoming faxes including physician orders, lab results, etc.
).
8.
Faxes all transfer summaries and discharge summaries to the appropriate facility.
9.
Assists with pre-bill audit activities as assigned.
10.
Assists with weekend patient scheduling and on-call coverage.
11.
Initiates and maintains discharge census on all nursing patients in coordination with Clinical Supervisor.
12.
Files and logs all clinical documents from Forcura as needed.
13.
Maintains good employee relations, inter-departmental and public relations.
14.
Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Manager, Director of Patient Care Services, and/or Administrator/ Assistant Administrator.
