You must have actual experience working in a Physical Therapy clinic as a Physical Therapy Tech.
We will not consider any applicants who are going back to school full time within the next 12 months.
This PTT position with be a hybrid of front desk/PTT and will also be responsible for front desk with greeting patients, checking in, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling patients, etc.
This position requires a high level of professionalism and profound care for patient's health and well-being.
We are looking for dedicated team members who will provide exceptional customer service, be organized and have exceptional listening and communication skills.
This person will be working splitting their time between therapists and filling in at the front desk.
You must be able to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate basic computer skills, including using a keyboard, mouse, and computerized ledger (Excel) to enter data.
Have a friendly demeanor on the phone and with patient and able to convey insurance benefits when trying to book patients.
Check for and document patient's responses on a daily basis.
Work with patients on exercises as directed by a physical therapist or physical medicine team leader.
Retrieve supplies, stock rooms and clean as directed by a physical therapist or physical medicine team leader.
