Answers all incoming calls and directs to the appropriate person or department.
Greets and assists visitors.
Help distribute e-faxes to correct departments.
Provides support for staff as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Answer phones to receive all incoming calls.
Distributes faxes to the appropriate department email groups and tracks new patient referrals.
Obtains necessary information from the caller to process the call efficiently.
Transfers the caller to the department or person that is best able to assist the caller.
Help build admission packets for new patients.
Welcomes all visitors and informs the employee of their arrival and forwards all drop-off information to the appropriate person.
Welcomes applicants and directs them to complete an application and submit it.
Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.
Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year prior experience in operating PC and switchboard.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Bilingual preferred.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment, team player.
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Friendly and upbeat personality are important! Health, dental, vision insurance available.
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
