The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and optimizing inventory control processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills and a background in logistics and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely replenishment - Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies - Utilize data to analyze inventory data and identify trends or areas for improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory control processes and drive operational efficiency - Coordinate with retail management team to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly - Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to manage inventory replenishment - Generate reports to provide insights on inventory performance Requirements:
- Must have a Valid Driver's license - Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a similar role - Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets - Proficiency in using MRP systems - Knowledge of contract procurement processes and procedures - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure NOT A FELONY FRIENDLY EMPLOYER Job Type:
