Vehicle Description This car was bought new by me, in December 1988 and is a 1989 XJ-S V12 Convertible.
I understand it is the last year that the car was built in England before it was taken over by Ford and they dropped the dash.
It has been gently used, always garaged when not being used, and never driven in rain.
It has 20,700 original miles, no dents and no accidents.
It is in excellent condition and as far as I am aware, everything works except the two front windows.
For years they grinded and I bought two working window motors in the trunk, but have never had them installed.
I was told the factory used plastic rotors in the window motors to cut down on noise, but they wear out.
For that reason I simply leave the windows up.
If you come to view, I will drive you around the neighborhood, and then you can drive.
Price is a firm $25,000 and as I am too old to haggle.
